Tree Care Firm Looking for the Best Story from Former Cheshire 4th Graders
January 25, 2007, Cheshire, CT, Total Tree Care wants to recognize the best story about how a Cheshire student or their family nurtured a seedling to become a healthy and beautiful tree.
"It's been our tradition since 1970 to give Cheshire 4th graders a tree seedling on Arbor Day", said Luke Williams, Total Tree Care President. "We want children to develop a comfort feeling, love and respect for trees at a very early age".
If you or your child received a seedling from Total Tree Care, you should submit a brief story about how the tree has provided benefit to you or your family. The story should state when you received the tree, what type of tree it is and how tall it is now.
The winning story and photo of the tree and its owners will be featured in an upcoming newsletter and the tree will win a free pruning for a year! Any family member can write the story along with their contact information.
The winning story will be selected from all entries received by Friday February, 9th. Stories should be submitted to mtoth@totaltreecare.com or to Total Tree Care; PO Box 216; Cheshire, CT 06410; Attn: Michael Toth.
