History
Tom and Harianne Williams started Cheshire Tree Service in 1957 for the purpose of making large trees safe and beautiful for area property owners. There was a growing awareness about responsible tree and environmental stewardship. Many trees were saved over the years that otherwise would have been taken down had this kind of appreciation not existed. Tom Williams continues to play an active role on the company's board of directors and Harianne worked up until the last few months of her life in 2006 as bookkeeper.
In 1990 the second generation of Williams (brothers Luke and Tom Jr.) inherited the responsibility to grow this customer-centric company. In 1996 Cheshire Tree Service reincorporated as Total Tree Care to reflect its growing commitment to a wider area of focus within Connecticut. In 2004 the company moved to a new 18,000 square foot headquarters facility on Schoolhouse Rd. in Cheshire. Luke is the company's president and Tom manages field operations. As we continue to grow, our clients enjoy additional services and solutions to other concerns they have about their properties.
Total Tree Care will always be committed to providing its customers responsible and value based services.
